Delete your Tiko.day account

You can delete your Tiko.day account and everything in it yourself, at any time. It takes about a minute and can't be undone.

Delete it in the app

1. Sign in at tiko.day/login with your email code.
2. Open Settings and scroll to Delete account.
3. Type your email address to confirm. If you signed in more than 10 minutes ago, we email you a new code to check it's you.

When it's done you are signed out and see a confirmation page. The deletion happens right away.

What is deleted

• Your account, profile and sign-in.
• Your items, projects and capture history, including text read from images and voice transcripts.
• Your saved AI key and your AI usage records.
• Your Google connection and every item copied from Google. We also remove Tiko.day's access at Google. Your calendars and tasks in Google are not touched.
• Your calendar subscription link. Calendars that use it stop updating.
• Your waitlist entry, if you joined the waitlist with the same email.

Subscriptions

If you pay for a plan, deleting the account cancels the subscription at once, so you are not charged again. Cancelling does not refund the current period automatically; see the refund policy if you want a refund. If the subscription can't be cancelled, nothing is deleted and the app tells you what to do.

What we keep

• Paddle, which sells our plans as Merchant of Record, keeps its own payment and tax records as the law requires.
• For 30 days after deletion we keep a one-way, keyed hash of your email address and the deletion date, and nothing else. It cannot be turned back into your address. We use it only so that signing up again with the same email within those 30 days does not start a second free trial; after 30 days it is deleted.
• We keep the IDs of the payment notifications Paddle already sent us, without your account or any personal details, so the same notification is never applied twice.
• Deleted data can remain in our database backups for a short time until those backups expire.

If you can't sign in

Email tealun@gmail.com from the address you use for Tiko.day and ask us to delete your account. We check that the request comes from that address, delete the account and everything listed above within 30 days, and reply to confirm.
