Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms apply when you use Tiko.day (恰时), the website at tiko.day and the web app at tiko.day/app. By creating an account or buying a plan you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
Tiko.day is operated by Tealun Du, an individual based in Guilin, China ("we", "us"). Contact: tealun@gmail.com.
1. The service
Tiko.day is a planning layer on top of Google Calendar and Google Tasks. It reads the calendars and task lists you choose, shows what to work on now, warns when a deadline no longer fits your free time, and turns text, voice or screenshots into proposed tasks and events. Your events and tasks stay in Google. Tiko.day writes to Google only when you edit an item, confirm a proposal or choose "Add to Google".
Tiko.day is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Google. Your use of Google Calendar and Google Tasks remains subject to Google's own terms.
Tiko.day is still in development. Features may change, and we may add, change or remove features as the product develops.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Tiko.day.
- You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- Give us an email address you control, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Plans, trial and payment
Prices are in US dollars, before any sales tax or VAT:
- Basic: $3.99 a month or $39.90 a year. AI features work with your own key from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google Gemini or OpenRouter.
- AI: $9.99 a month or $99.90 a year. AI is included with a monthly credit allowance.
Both plans have the same features. New accounts get a 7-day free trial with a small AI allowance and no card required. When the trial ends, you need a plan to keep using Tiko.day; nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
Paddle is our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payment and handles returns. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms. Paddle calculates and charges any tax that applies where you live, so the final price is the one shown at checkout.
Renewal and cancellation
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in Settings ("Manage subscription and invoices") or through Paddle. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- If you switch between plans or between monthly and yearly, Paddle charges or credits the difference for the rest of the period straight away.
- If a payment fails, the included AI stops until the payment goes through. Your own key keeps working.
- We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
AI credits and credit packs
- The AI plan includes a monthly credit allowance. A yearly plan gets the same allowance every month. Unused credits do not carry over.
- If you run out, you can buy credit packs. They are available only with an active AI plan, are used after the monthly allowance, and expire 12 months after purchase. Packs stay on your account if you change plan, and work again when you are back on the AI plan.
- With your own key, your provider bills you directly for its use. We do not charge credits for those requests, but we limit how many AI requests an account can make per minute.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Your content
What you put into Tiko.day, and the data we read from your Google account, stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy and process it only as needed to run Tiko.day for you, including sending captures to the AI provider described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from short-lived backups.
You are responsible for what you capture. Do not upload content you have no right to share.
5. AI output
AI can misread dates, names or intentions. Tiko.day shows every AI result as a proposal for you to check, and saves nothing until you confirm. You are responsible for what you confirm and for the changes you choose to write to Google. Do not rely on Tiko.day as the only reminder for anything where a missed deadline could cause serious harm.
6. Using your own AI key
If you add your own key, requests are made under your agreement with that provider, and you are responsible for its charges and its usage rules. We store the key encrypted and use it only for your requests. You can delete it at any time in Settings.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
- use Tiko.day to break the law or anyone's rights;
- try to get into other people's accounts or data, or test or bypass our security without written permission;
- overload the service, scrape it, or use automated means to create accounts or trials;
- resell or share access to the hosted AI, or use it to build a competing service.
If you find a security problem, please tell us at tealun@gmail.com.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Tiko.day available, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. Google, Cloudflare, Supabase, Paddle and AI providers can also have outages that affect Tiko.day. If we stop offering a paid plan, we will give you notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Tiko.day at any time: cancel your subscription and ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Tiko.day is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or missed opportunities, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, and disputes go to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Guilin, China. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before a significant change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
